Abstract
The UHF has been the suitable frequency band at advantage of less propagation attenuation in coal mine. This paper presents a statistical model in empty straight coal mine laneway at UHF which is vital to exploit efficient modulation technology. Besides, the simulation of the wideband channel is carried out at 900 MHz, 1800 MHz and 2.4 GHz. Moreover, the results of simulation and measurement are compared to show the veracity of the proposed model.
