Abstract :
Experiments are described in which a conventional infrared frequency chain is used to measure the frequency of stable laser sources at 10.4 /spl mu/m and 1.5 /spl mu/m. Details are given of a femtosecond frequency comb, which will eventually replace the infrared chain.
