Abstract :
The development of a portable 1-V Josephson voltage standard is described. Its accuracy is the same as that of typical laboratory systems, but its weight and volume allow this equipment to be transported by a single person. The system is intended for comparisons and verifications of laboratory Josephson voltage standards with an uncertainty of less than 1/spl times/10/sup -9/.
