  • Abstract
Enterprise commercial age is an important branch of enterprise bionics. Japanese scholars put forward the concept of commercial age and built a model to measure it in the 1960s. Chinese scholars have devoted a lot of energy in this area, however, there is still lack of empirical research to some extent by now. Considering the characteristics of corporations nowadays, we further modified the Japanese model [Nikkei Business Daily Agency. Enterprise age. Nikkei Business Daily Agency, 1993] in this thesis. What is new in our paper is that we did some concrete study of commercial age to demonstrate our model. After revising the model, we chose a sample of twenty listed companies to conduct some empirical analysis. Based on the preceding research, we collected the data of eight listed medicine corporations to test the age model. In the last part of the paper, we obtained some conclusions by contrasting the results with the list of Chinese top 100 in pharmaceutical industry.
