Abstract :
According to the temperature measurement requirements for the ceramic kiln, an automatic temperature measurement system is developed using wireless communication technology. It overcomes the disadvantages of wired measurement system, such as complicated wiring and difficult maintenance. The hardware and software of the measurement system are discussed in detail. The temperature measured by the thermocouple inside ceramic kilns is transmitted to the PC by transceiver controlled by microcontroller, and the temperature data is managed by PC. The experimental results show that the system fully comply with design requirements. The system consist of the following features that is in simple structure, reliable performance, wireless transmission. It is suitable especially for the fields where the laying of cables is inconvenient. It has greater practical value.
