  • Abstract
    Engineering-machinery manufacturing industry plays a vital role in economic development. So, Chinese enterprises of this industry keep in searching for an effective strategy system to survive in serious competition, especially facing globalization. In this paper, we introduced two cases successful in global and domestic market respectively, Caterpillar and Sany, so as to find out such a successful system. After analysis on designing, integrating and practicing of strategy system in the two cases, we finally conclude that it would be right and necessary for Chinese enterprises to establish a strategy system focusing on R&D, service, corporate culture and internalization in engineering manufacturing and similar technology-oriented industries finally to achieve competitive advantages in global market.
