Abstract :
A critical issue in supply chain management is coordinating the decisions made by decision makers at different stages. Traditional scheduling see production scheduling as the dominant, and distribution have to follow it, but this leads to inventory cost and delivery tardiness. So, we study the coordinating of production and distribution scheduling in MC. The overall problem is decomposed into two sub-problems, which consists of distribution allocation problem and a single manufacture´s production scheduling problem, then see the distribution allocation as the main part, production scheduling coordinate to it. Then set up mixed integer programming models, the models proposed to minimize supply chain total cost encompass distribution cost, production cost, delivery lateness cost and the inventory holding cost, and different constraints and assumptions have been taken into consideration in our modeling. In the end, we propose the genetic algorithms approach, and numerical examples are presented to illustrate the model and the approach.
