Abstract
Summary form only given, as follows. The wireless market has seen unprecedented growth in the last year alone. Customers are signing on for wireless service at the rate of 20,000 perday. New entrants, such as PCS service providers, are changing the market by focusing on enhanced services to increase airtime. Incumbent cellular service provider a leg-up on their competition? PCS providers must develop services and strategies specifically aimed at acquiring customers quickly. Cellular providers will need to develop services designed to reatin their best customers and to acquire new customers. The Wireless Intelligent Network (WIN) technology is the best weapon to utilize in this competitive market. WIN provides the infrastructure to meet competitive market. Win provides the infrastructure to meet competitive business advantages through: customized services, service creation, and improved time to market.
