Abstract
Transformer core saturation in a full-bridge, phase-shift DC-DC converter with current doubler rectifier has been considered. Equations allowing to calculate maximum value of the flux density in the core have been obtained. The theoretical analysis and calculations were verified by simulation and experiments of DC-DC converter with 2500 W output power. Main causes of asymmetrical regimes have been revealed and suggested methods preventing a phenomena.
