Abstract :
A solution to controlling fiber cement sheet production in a processing plant is presented. A production machine model is described that was obtained by solving the continuity equation for three cascade vats. An adaptive algorithm for microcomputer system control of the production process was developed. Results obtained from tests performed on this algorithm in real production conditions show a greater than 20% production gain and an increased production stability.<>
