Abstract :
We propose a new video conference display that replicates the eye contact back channel available to the attendees of real conferences. The display consists of multiple screens that present the remote participants´ faces so that they exhibit the participants´ gaze direction. We introduce a prototype video conference terminal with two screens and demonstrate that it offers eye contact with directivity of up to 17 degrees.
