Abstract
This paper describes an advanced seminar presented at the 16th IEEE International Conference on Mobile Data Management. The advanced seminar presents the state-of-the-art in the Internet of Things, which is fast emerging as the disruptive technology for years to come. The seminar focusses on the Internet-scale sensor information management, related mobile analytics and open source IoT technologies and emerging standards.
