Data Gathering and Processing System for Sonar Application

Data acquisition system is an important component of sonar. The development of modern sonar especially those for military use requires a large acoustic array with hundreds of sensors. Meanwhile, the sonar develops with a trend of modularization,standardization and serialization. The paper focuses on the design of sonar data acquisition system which will satisfy modern sonar techniques.
