Abstract :
Citizenship performance refers to behaviors contribute to organizational effectiveness in ways that shape the organizational, social, and psychological context that serves as the catalyst for task activities and processes. Using data collected from 188 coworker dyads, the present study aimed to explore the prediction effects of individualism-collectivism (I-C) on citizenship performance, as well as the moderation effects of I-C on the relationship between justice perception and citizenship performance. Hierarchical regression analysis indicated that employees´ I-C value accounted for unique variance beyond justice perception in their citizenship behaviors significantly, and I-C moderated the relationship between employees´ procedural justice perception and citizenship behaviors. The correlation of procedural justice perception and citizenship behaviors was closer among individualists. Such results were not obtained between distributive justice and citizenship behaviors.
