Abstract :
A novel material-magnetic fluid which is a functional magnetic material in the world is introduced. The production methods are introduced and the process of the chemical co-precipitation method is presented. The physical characteristic such as the density, viscosity, and magnetism of kerosene based magnetic fluid is studied. The experiments verify that the viscosity increases with the increasing of the density of magnetic fluid. The saturation magnetization intensity first increases and then reduces with the surfactant increasing.
