Abstract :
A collaborative monitoring system Based on JXTA is designed here. The architecture and specific implementation are proposed. The paper emphasizes on introducing the method of monitoring the network by collaborative peers applying P2P technology and the implementation procedure of monitoring the CISCO3640 port utility. The system features on expansibility, usability and interoperability, high performance, decentralization, and robustness.
