A system of position control for cylinder based on fuzzy control

Abstract :
For non-linear characteristic of pneumatic position servo system, the paper presented the cylinder position control system. The computer and compression-type electropneumatic proportional valve are the core parts of this system. The fuzzy control algorithm was introduced to ensure the application of cylinder position control. The fuzzy controller we designed applied the control model of double input of position deviation and its deviations rate and single output of control quantity. The study suggested that the position control precision may reach ±0.25 mm. This system can make the high-precision control of cylinder position possible.
