Abstract
Aiming at improving the success rate of the original RANSAC paradigm in the context of curve detection, a new method for quadratic curve detection called K-RANSAC has been proposed. Acceleration techniques based on the geometric properties of the quadratic curves and random pre-sampling are utilized for speeding up the computation
