Abstract :
The cognitive radios enables dynamic spectrum accessing capabilities and these by the name implies thought process based radio. These systems are capable of dynamic spectrum accessing (DSA) that can detect and identify the spectrum holes (vacant spectrum) and there are many novel protocols and ideas for spectrum accessing like cooperative spectrum accessing scheme. The cognitive radio sensor networks are wireless sensor networks based on cognitive radio principles. The cognitive radio sensor networks that are abbreviated as CRSN could be an efficient sensor networking scheme that can be used in many areas where originally normal sensor networks has been used. Since cognitive radio sensor networks can access spectrum efficiently and thus these networks will surpass the normal networks by a far greater amount.
