Abstract :
In a distributed radar network, the traditional multi-radar multi-track correlation method is very time-consuming. A feasible solution of this problem is presented in this paper. We put forward a novel method which is called regional track correlation method. In this method, the entire target region is partitioned to sub regions. Then the correlativity of tracks in adjacent sub regions is tested while the correlativity of tracks in nonadjacent sub regions is not tested. Finally the track correlation times decrease dramatically due to the regional track correlation method
