  • Abstract
    This paper describes how qualitative reasoning, functional reasoning and knowledge compilation can be combined to tackle the problem of analogue circuit design automation. A structure-behaviour-function semi-quantitative model is proposed as a means of capturing the cognitive aspects of the human design process
