Abstract
Nowadays, the business environment is characterized by great uncertainty and variability. In this environment, information technology (IT) has proved to be an important strategic ingredient for the creation of competitive advantage. The role of information system (IS) strategy has been widely accepted by the entrepreneur and scholars during the past few years. But the study on the integration of IS strategy with the enterprise business strategy is rather rare, especially for the most of Chinese enterprises. This paper firstly reviews existing theories and find them now outdated and technology focused. Secondly it demonstrates the principal part of IS strategy, finally on the top analysis, develop an approach of integration IS strategy planning: five stages framework that fits the enterprise business strategy.
