  • Abstract
    The spectral theory underlining the structure of the detection filter is re-examined. First, it is shown that the structures of the detection filter constructed by using the spectral theory and geometric theory are equivalent. Furthermore, the existence of the detection filter gain is shown. Finally, a new algorithm for the detection filter design is derived
