  • Abstract
Previous research have analyzed the structure of the detection filter and developed design algorithms by using the spectral theory and geometric theory. Although the spectral theory produces a more straightforward and transparent derivation of the detection filter in our opinion, the geometric theory produces a more general form of the detection filter which includes the special case generated by using the spectral theory. The intent of this paper is to generalize the detection filter generated by using the spectral theory to obtain the general form of the detection filter that is equivalent to the one generated by using the geometric theory
