Abstract
In this paper we propose a location aided directed routing protocol for mobile wireless ad-hoc networks. The proposed protocol is an on demand reactive strategy that relies on location information of nodes. The protocol uses simple caches and certain routing packets to maintain nodes´ location information. Simulation results illustrate the performance of the proposed protocol.
