Abstract :
Based on the core-periphery model, this article studies on the twice industrial co-opetitions between the metropolises and the rural-urban continuums of our country. Through an empirical analysis of provincial capital cities and their rural-urban continuums, the article concludes that the industrial co-opetition index is positively related to the efficiency of a certain city, that is, the more reasonable industries distribute and interact, the higher efficiency the city will gain.
