Abstract :
Nowadays, e-commerce market is growing very rapidly because it is efficient, has a very wide range, and is not limited by time. But, e-commerce still has many problems; one of them is the issue of reputation of existing online stores. The buyer is afraid of being cheated and fears getting a product or service that does not match the information displayed by seller. This research propose a new metric in order to strengthen the simple reputation system. By using the Design Research Methodology (DRM), we can figure out the seller-buyer closeness is really has impact in sellers reputation of real commerce world. This factor will be improved and added to develop a better reputation system. Consequently, the proposed reputation system can help the buyer to choose the right seller for transact without feel cheated from sellers reputation score.
