Abstract :
This paper, shows a hyperbolic approximating approach for bistatic range histories where both transmitter and receiver work on the squint mode. The approximate approach avoids the linear and quadratic errors, and can also counteract some high order errors. Based on the approximation, a RD algorithm for ´translational invariant´ bistatic SAR has been deduced. Finally, simulating results are presented and compared, which validate the correctness and accuracy of the algorithm
