Abstract :
The paper presents the design of a 5 V/1.5 V, 60 A four phase DC-DC converter for supplying new generation microprocessors requiring higher currents at lower voltages. The module employs a new technique to control the turn-on of each phase in order to reduce overshoot and undershoot of the output regulated voltage improving the performances of interleaving technique in transient current changes
