Abstract :
The random time-varying filter theory is reviewed and the conditions of canonical channel models are examined. These are linked to a discrete time baseband simulation using fractional sampling period delay technique and frequency domain filtering for the generation of the coloured complex Gaussian sequences. Practical issues such as the gain normalisation are discussed and test results are given
