Abstract :
By introducing passive emitter locating using time difference of arrival (TDOA) and analyzing the characteristic of locating algorithm, a new algorithm is proposed for emitter position estimation using TDOA of five sites. It is shown to be an algorithm with small locating error, small computation and good applicability. Number simulations are given to support this conclusion
