Abstract :
The influence of propagation environment (as characterised by the received signal statistics) on the handover performance of digital cellular mobile radio systems is investigated. The simulation based on GSM system indicates that the dynamic adjustment of propagation dependent handover algorithm parameters could enhance the system handover performance
