Abstract :
This paper deals with the interferences between the new 2times25 kV - 50 Hz Italian High Speed/High Capacity railway lines and the 3 kV regional system. In particular, the interconnection between the two supply systems has been investigated by modeling all the appliances in the border region. Many simulation results are presented and discussed in order to evaluate the efficiency of the solution adopted in Italy.
