Abstract :
Describes the mathematical representation of two controllers which can be integrated in the dynamic regulation software closed loop module: a monovariable controller suitable for delay systems (Smith predictor) which is synthesized by a pole placement technique; and a multivariable controller (control by feedback state) the purpose of which is to minimize a quadratic criterion. The multivariable representation chosen reduces the matricial calculations (dimension 5). The behaviour of these controllers which regulate the downstream level of canal reaches using flow controlled gates are analyzed based on a simulation
