Abstract :
With battery OEMs continuing to push for smaller, lighter, cheaper rechargeable batteries, Panasonic is introducing several new lithium-ion prismatic, cylindrical and coin cells. In this presentation the author introduces Panasonic´s latest lithium-ion cells and the performance results achieved. The author also discusses some of the most important trends and their impact on battery development and introduces some of the critical issues driving change in the battery industry
