Abstract :
An estimation distribution algorithm for path planning of an autonomous mobile robot is proposed in this paper. Our algorithm encodes each path to a fixed-length real number string, updates the populations by building probabilistic model of solution distributions. Simulations results show that the proposed algorithm works well in both static and dynamic environments.
