Abstract
In this paper, we propose a low complexity bit-interleaved coded DAPSK in combination with cyclic delay diversity, which transmits delayed replicas of an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) signal in cyclic manner and thereby enjoys full diversity without loss of bandwidth efficiency. Here, the frequency diversity induced by delayed replicas can be exploited by a subsequent channel decoder. The performance of the proposed system is evaluated over frequency selective block Rayleigh fading channels. We also show that our proposed system is robust against the blockage effect caused by some obstacles.
