Abstract
Nonlinear non-autonomous mechanical systems with two-component homogeneous potential forces are considered. Based on method of Lyapunov functions there were proved several theorems that provide asymptotic stability and ultimate boundedness of solutions of system under variety of conditions. MATLAB computing environment was used to numerically estimate some of the obtained results.
