Abstract :
This paper presents a 2D finite difference time domain method used for indoor propagation calculations. The relationship between the 2D and the 3D problem is discussed. An interpretation of the 2D results is done. The results of a sample calculation are presented and compared to those of other papers. FDTD is compared to the ray tracing method and found to be appropriate, e.g. if many reflections are to be taken into account
