Abstract :
Work on establishing a framework for discussing the convergence of waveform-relaxation-type processes is surveyed. Methods for accelerating the iteration are examined, with the discussion limited to the linear autonomous problem. Consideration is given to continuous iteration, discretized iteration, finite windows, and differential/algebraic equation systems.<>
