Research on Policy Refinement Method

Policy refinement, which is the primary measure to realize the intention of policy-based management, is playing a pivotal role in the management of policy-based distributed systems. Studies on policy refinement are being attached more and more importance to by researchers in recent years. This paper firstly gives an overview of some of the currently leading policy refinement methods, after that, we analyze these methods to present the advantages and disadvantages of these methods respectively, then a future developing direction and an idea of the research on policy refinement method are proposed.
