Abstract :
Optimal selection of the settings of a DVB-H system will be presented to maximize the coverage for indoor reception for a given throughput requirement. The performance of the system will be evaluated by measurements for different modulation schemes, guard intervals, and MPE-FEC rates. Based on trial results, optimal transmission parameters will be selected for a DVB-H network. This optimization will allow broadcasters and companies to select optimal transmitting settings for future DVB-H trials and deployments.
