Abstract :
E-learning systems implementation is costly and has a relatively low success rate. There still needs to better understand how human factor such as personality will relate e-learning system acceptance and use. Therefore, the goal of the research is to broaden the TAM model which would include variables related to human factor. Thus, our mainly effort is to integrate internal locus of control (ILOC) and computer self-efficacy (CSE), to examine the applicability of the technology acceptance model (TAM) in explaining employees´ decisions to accept e-learning system. Based on a sample of 204 employees taken from 12 high-tech companies in Taiwan, the results strongly support the extended TAM in predicting employees´ behavioral intention to use e-learning.
