Abstract
In this paper, we present a modeling framework for complex networks, which is called Dynamic Graph Hybrid System (DGHS for short). First, we give a descriptive definition of DGHS. Furthermore, as a typical motivational example of DGHS, we apply it to model urban traffic signal control (UTSC) network, and the UTSC network model we propose is in fact a development of the well-known cell transmission model (CTM) in traffic flow theory. In addition, the problem of combination of vertices of UTSC network is considered.
