Abstract :
Data transmission using antipodal modulation in a Rayleigh fading environment with a single dominant co-channel interferer is considered. The authors examine the performance of single-user receiver schemes designed for partly known co-channel interference. The decentralized receiver schemes examined are shown to alleviate the near-far problem. The studied receivers also achieve a performance close to the optimum performance for transmission without co-channel interference
