A propagation measurement system for HF broadcast prediction enhancement

The paper outlines the design principles of a system for HF propagation measurement. Systems will be deployed under the auspices of the ITU, on a worldwide basis to gather data to enhance the precision of the ionospheric database used in HF broadcast coverage prediction. The current deployment stations and operating schedules for the system are also given in the paper
