Abstract
In this paper, the main problems of fusion techniques of airborne SAR and optical images are discussed. First, the regions of interest for target candidates in each mono-source data are independently segmented, and then the fusion is processed during the decision stage. A novel detection method of fusion images of targets which is based on "3S" technology is proposed. The experimental results demonstrate the advantage of this method
