Abstract :
In this paper, we investigate the capacity of PRMA in terms of the number of simultaneous users with packet dropping probability less than 0.01 under the fast fading channel environment. When uplink error occurs as a result of fading, a mobile terminal may lose its reservation even if there are more packets to be transmitted. The simulation results suggest that larger permission probability and shorter frame are more favorable when the error rate increases
