The study and realization of mobile meta search engine

With the development of 3G network, more and more people begin to search information by mobile phones, and mobile searching is an important part in people´s daily life now. This system uses some dominant search engines, such like Google, Baidu, as the member search engines with multi-thread technique. In this paper, we construct a mobile meta search engine named MMSE and propose a new page conversion algorithm based on VIPS (Vision based page segmentation) to extract the main content of the web-pages. We also use efficient sorting algorithm to increase the precision ratio of the returned records.
