Abstract :
An underexamined piece of the SOA puzzle is how data access and integration fit into the overall SOA architecture for an enterprise application. In this presentation, we will describe how the data service modeling concepts and methodology supported in AquaLogic data services platform (ALDSP) 3.0, released in January of 2008, address this piece of the SOA puzzle. We will also describe some experiences (e.g., lessons learned from working with customers) that guided us to our current approach.
